Abstract:
To stably support the end of an elastic member and stabilize the damper property of a lock-up damper mechanism.
This lock-up damper mechanism contained in a lock-up clutch for a torque converter has a coil spring 53, a piston member 51 containing an input side supporting member 54 having input side supporting portions 54b, 54c and a driven member 52 having output side supporting portions 52d, 52e. The input side supporting portions 54b, 54c circumferentially support the end of the coil spring 53 at least at two different radial places. The output side supporting portions 52d, 52e circumferentially support the end of the coil spring 53 at least at two different radial places.
