Abstract:

To reduce generation of booming noise and deterioration in drivability due to engagement of its lockup clutch, when improving responsiveness in reacceleration from a coast travel state, while restraining a shock and a torque variation when engaging a one-way clutch by engagement control of the lockup clutch.

When a variation quantity TDH of drive shaft torque becomes a predetermined determination value TD1 or less after the one-way clutch F1 is put in an engaging state, since the engagement control of the lockup clutch 32 is finished in a Step S9 when a determination of a Step S7 becomes YES, while properly controlling a torque variation by slip engagement control of the lockup clutch 32 when transmitting motive power in response to engagement of the one-way clutch F1, the generation of the booming noise and the deterioration in the drivability due to the engagement of its lockup clutch 32 is necessarily minimally restrained.
