Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize the high speed operation of an MTC-MOS circuit in an active state and to reduce the current in the standby state.
CONSTITUTION: In this logic circuit in which a power supply terminal of a logic circuit group LGA capable of high speed operation at a low voltage is connected to a power supply via a field effect transistor(TR) Qx, a potential different from a power supply potential given to the logic circuit group is provided to a gate SL of the TR. As a result, in the active state of the logic circuit group, since a gate potential is give to the TR to be strongly conductive, a sufficient current supply capability is given to a pseudo power supply line VDDV through which a current is a supplied to the logic circuit group to allow the logic circuit group to be in high speed operation at a low voltage. In the standby state of the logic circuit group, the TR is set to a strongly nonconductive state and even when its threshold voltage is low, a leakage current is suppressed to reduce the standby current of the logic circuit group.
