Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop gain control method that first adjusts a gain of a feedback section in a digital wireless unit adopting a power amplifier distortion compensation system employing a Cartesian loop and then adjusts a gain of a forward section so as to keep the loop gain constant, satisfies an adjacent channel leakage power in the transmission characteristic and keeps the loop characteristic stable.
SOLUTION: A modulator, a demodulator, a power amplifier, a loop filter, an adder, a low pass filter, a detector, a phase controller, a gain adjustment section, and a control section are used for basic building blocks. In order to adjust an output level, the detector is used to detect the output level, adjusting the gain of the feedback section adjusts the output level to be a specified level, and the gain of the forward section is detected to adjust the gain of the forward section and to adjust the loop gain.
