Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a compsn. containing hydrogenated sugar which induces little caries to be used as a sweetener compsn. or a medicine incorporated into foods or pharmaceutical or veterinary products.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. contains 0.1 to 80% hydrogenated monosaccharides, 0.1 to 96% hydrogenated disccharides, 11 to 96% hydrogenated monosaccharides and disaccharides, 1 to 40% polysaccharides which are not hydrolyzed by amyloglucosidase. Moreover, the compsn. contains hydrogenated oligosaccharides and polysaccharides to obtain 100% content.
