Abstract:
To provide smooth and generally moderate load distribution to related portions of a press.
This gas spring device has a casing at least partly defining a gas chamber. A housing is stored at least in partly in the casing. The housing has a through hole large enough to store a piston rod assembly moving between retracted and advanced positions. A piston fixing device is mounted to work in concert with the piston rod. An end part contracts between a compressed position where the piston fixing device abuts on the housing following the movement of the piston rod to the advanced position and a non-compressed position where engagement with the housing is canceled when the piston fixing device moves to the retracted position.
