Abstract:
PURPOSE: To operate a DC/DC converter of a power supply feeding equipment by loss power generated from a serial branch controller of the equipment by so forming the DC/DC converter that the difference voltage between the input and output voltages of the serial branch controller is applied to its primary circuit so as to generate the output voltage of the equipment in its secondary circuit.
CONSTITUTION: Providing a serial branch controller (L), a difference voltage Uc1 generated between both its ends is used as the input voltage of a DC/DC converter (G). Hereupon, the DC/DC converter G operates by the power loss of the serial branch controller L to feed an output voltage Ua. In this case, the conversion ratio of a secondary circuit 2 to a primary circuit 1 is selected so as to also generate the output voltage Ua in the secondary circuit 2. Therefore, since this DC/DC converter G converts only the slight portion of the entire power of a power supply feeding equipment, the size of the DC/DC converter G can be reduced to make the overall efficiency of the equipment larger than the one obtained when it is constituted using the power supply feeding equipment, formed to include merely a DC/DC converter.
