Abstract:
To provide a lower back structure of an automobile that prevents separation of spot welding at a lower side corner part of a back door opening due to a press-up load from a road surface while reducing the weight and cost thereof.
A coupling part A of lower flanges 12b, 13b forms a projecting part 21 by folding a lower back extension outer panel 13 from an edge vicinity part 13d' so as to form an inclined surface b extending backward of the vehicle with respect to a general flange surface (a) other than the coupling part of the lower flange 12b, and further folding a lower back outer panel 12 from a front end vicinity part 12d' of the inclined surface b so as to be returned to the general flange surface (a).
