To provide a momentum control apparatus that carries out feedback control of the momentum of a control object using feedback gains setup so that a motion condition of the control object may be stabilized.
The momentum control apparatus includes: an optimal feedback gain acquisition unit which acquires an optimal feedback gain to be used when the momentum of the controlled object is feedback controlled by independently actuating one actuator out of a plurality of actuators for cases when each of the plurality of actuators operates independently; and a feedback gain setting part for setting a minimum feedback gain out of the plurality of the optimal feedback gains acquired by the optimal feedback gain acquisition unit as a feedback gain of a control system.
