Abstract:
To provide a lubricant composition for a belt conveyor that can improve lubricity with low usage, does not cause cracks or fissures in a PET bottle when it comes into contact with a belt conveyor in a state filled with carbonated beverages with internal pressure loads, and causes less dust stains resulting from wear of the belt conveyor.SOLUTION: A lubricant composition for a belt conveyor comprises a nonionic surfactant as component (A), one or more water-soluble polyols selected from glycerin and polyalkylene glycols as component (B), an oily substance as component (C), and water as component (D), where the component (A) is a nonionic surfactant which is produced by adding ethylene oxide and propylene oxide to an aliphatic alcohol containing a hydrocarbon group with a carbon number of 12 to 24, has a polymerization degree of polyoxyalkylene groups contained therein of from 15 to 57 moles, and has the content of oxyethylene groups in the polyoxyalkylene groups is from 50 to 85 moles, and the mass ratio of component (A) to component (B) (=(B)/(A)) is from 0.1 to 400, and the mass ratio of component (A) to component (C)(=(C)/(A)) is from 0.2 to 50.SELECTED DRAWING: None
