Abstract:

To obtain a water-soluble lubricant composition capable of using both as an oil solution for cutting and that for grinding, exhibiting excellent metal material processing performances, having low irritation to the skin, capable of being used in a state diluted to water and contributing to resource saving.

This lubricant composition comprises (A) a compound obtained by adding an oxyalkylene group to a hydroxy group of a hydroxycarboxylic acid, its alkali metal salt or its amine salt, (B) a primary amino group-containing compound represented by formula (1) [wherein R1is an alkylene group; AO is an oxyalkylene group; X is (AO)nH, R2-NH2(R2is an alkylene group) or a hydrocarbon group; when X is (AO)H, (m) is 0 or ≥1 and when X is R2-NH2or a hydrocarbon group, (m) is ≥1] and (C) at least one kind of base oil selected from an alkylbenzene, a normal paraffin, an isoparaffin, an α-olefin or their derivatives.
