Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of lubricating oil with certainty and improve operation efficiency by arranging caps on openings formed on a vessel main body, and forming an opening having a measurement suitable for discharging inner pressure in the main body to the outside.
SOLUTION: Caps 30, 32 composing a lubricant leakage preventive structure are arranged on openings 22a, 22b of a differential case 10 in the state that a component such as a differential gear mechanism 18 is housed on a case body 12. A bottomed cylindrical part 36 is integrally arranged on an end of a fitting part 34 formed on an end of a widened flange 33 of the cap 30, whose diameter is decreased through a stepped portion. A hole 40 as an opening is formed on substantially a center portion of a bottom 38 of the cylindrical part 36. The measurement of the hole 40 is set so as to prevent dusts from entering the case body 12 from the outside, and discharge inner pressure to the outside for governing the pressure of the case body 12. It is thus possible to surely prevent leakage of lubricant charged in the case body 12 to the outside.
