PURPOSE:To ensure a better lubricating property by increasing the oil volume according to the concentration of alcohol by means of an alcohol concentration sensor and a controller for the oil volume in an engine using a mixed fuel. CONSTITUTION:A relief path 12 is provided somewhere in the cource of an oil passage 6 with the end thereof communicating to an oil pan 4 and a solenoid valve 13 is provided to open or close the relief path 12. An alcohol concentration sensor 14 is provided on the bottom of a float chamber 3a in a fuel feeder 3 to detect the alcohol concentration of the mixed fuel while connected to a controller 15 for controlling the operation of the solenoid valve 13 according to the alcohol concentration. When the alcohol concentration exceeds the set level, the solenoid valve 13 is closed with the controller 15 receiving the output of the concentration sensor 14 allowing oil from a metering pump 5 to be all fed to a suction path 2 via the oil passage 6.
