Abstract:

To provide a lubricating composition excellently handling soot, adjusting friction and viscosity, preventing oxidation, and realizing improved engine performance and cleanliness.

The lubricating composition comprises an amine-based friction adjusting agent and an ester holding particulate burnt substances floated. The ester is obtained from a 1-30C carboxylic acid and alcohol and has molecular weight of 400-5,000. A content of the ester in the total amount of the lubricating composition is 5-50 wt.%.
