Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple lubrication structure of variable valve device capable of efficiently supplying oil to a lubrication portion necessary for a cam.SOLUTION: A lubrication structure of a variable valve device is configured such that in a cam shaft 42, an oil supply passage 42h is formed along a central axis, and a cam communication oil hole 42hb is bored at the same axial direction as a valve 41 from the oil supply passage 42h to an outer peripheral surface in a radiation direction; in a cam carrier 43, cam oil supply holes 43Ah, 43Bh are bored at cam lobes 43A, 43B from inside to a cam surface in the radiation direction; and the cam oil supply holes 43Ah, 43Bh of the cam lobes 43A, 43B moved to a position of operating for the valve 41 of the cam carrier 43 communicate with the cam communication oil hole 42hb of the cam shaft 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
