To provide a luggage compartment structure in a station wagon effectively adaptable to the dimensions and shapes of luggage by adjusting the height and depth dimensions of the floor surface of a luggage compartment.
The luggage compartment 30 is formed at the rear of a rear seat 10 having a jumping-up mechanism. The luggage compartment adopts such a structure that the vertical position of a floor board 40 supported by luggage compartment side trims 50 can be changed so that the height position of the floor surface 30a of the luggage compartment 30 can be adjusted. Two types of full-flat configurations are adopted while being related to the forward tilted state of the backrest 12 of the rear seat 10 or the jumped-up state of the entire rear seat 10. Consequently, the luggage compartment structure is effectively adaptable to the height and depth dimensions of luggage.
