Abstract:
To provide a luminaire, such as a lantern, a lamp, or a table lamp, which fulfills a function as the so-called photocatalyst other than a function as interior illumination, and is thereby effective for removing odors and bacteria in the interior of a room.
A light source 4 is mounted in a shade part 1 in this luminaire such as the lantern, the lamp or the table lamp. A titanium oxide is provided in the shade part 1, openings 2, 3 are formed in the upper part and the lower part of the shade part 1, and the lower opening 3 is formed so as to have a wider width than that of the upper opening 2.
