The luminaire includes: a high-pressure discharge lamp 10 as a light source; an equipment body 20 fixed to a mounting object portion while holding the light source; a mirror reflector 25 reflecting emitting light of the light source; and a movement retention means which includes a spring 32 that is an urging means for urging the mirror reflector 25, and retains the mirror reflector 25 within the equipment body 20 so as to be movable to positions in urging direction and anti-urging directions of the urging means.
