Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily initially set a plate cylinder, by arranging a machine plate loading guide plate insertably into and retractably from both ends of a protective cover in a width direction, and providing a mechanism for inserting or retracting the plate into or from the cover. SOLUTION: The machine plate guide 5 comprises machine plate loading guide plates 17a, 17b respectively provided at both lateral ends of a cover plate 13 and fixed to an inside face of a mounting fixture 19, and a shaft 20 fixed to the fixture 19. Meanwhile, support brackets 22a, 22b are respectively fixed to the plate 13 corresponding to the plates 17a, 17b. One end of a link 23 is coupled to the brackets 22a, 22b via a pin 21, and the other end of the link 23 is rotatably coupled to the shaft 20. Further, a magnet 25 is fixed onto the plate 13 corresponding to a projected plate 24 to be attracted to an outside face of the fixture 19 so that the plates 17a, 17b are freely insertably or retractably.
