PURPOSE: To set a proper relative position of the upper and the lower dies and make precision forging available by setting the lower bed by a positioning method pressing the lower die to the upper die with full load oil pressure.

CONSTITUTION: Below the lower bed 8, plural number of cylinders 12, ... are provided, pressurized is supplied to push up the lower bed 8, and the lower die 11 in the lower die bolster 10 is contacted to the upper die 6 by the pressure in the full load conditions. Further, under the lower bed 8, a shear pin mechanism is provided, and a road receiving plate 17 is placed on the shear pin 14, which is supported by receiving stand 15. The receiving stand is fixed between the bottom face of a frame and the shear pin through a wage piece 16, so that it can freely adjust its height up and down corresponding to pushed up height by oil pressure. Through above mentioned facts, die casting with full power in a proper relative position of the upper and the lower dies is available, and adjustment of the dies in the vertical direction is eliminated.
