Title:
MACHINE TOOL MADE FROM CONCRETE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57194845
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the stability of a machine tool proper made from the concrete by incorporating a core material into a molding formwork, at a predetermined position thereof a metallic part is fixed by means of a jig, pouring the concrete in which fine grains, fibers etc. are mixed and pressing and solidifying the concrete.

CONSTITUTION: The metallic part 12 with a sliding surface 1 and the metallic part 5 with a sliding surface 4 are mounted to the molding formworks 6, 13, 8 at accurate positions by means of the jig 2. The core material as concrete framed construction is arranged at a proper position in the formworks. The core material is assembled by a shaft 31, pads 35, shapes 34, 36 and check pins 32. The concrete into which metallic small pieces, the plastic fine grains, the fibers, etc. are mixed is poured into the formworks, and pressed by a push plate 17 and solidified. When a magnetic substance is mixed into the concrete and the concrete is solidified applying a magnetic field, strength is further increased. Accordingly, the secular change of accuracy can be reduced extremely.
