Abstract:

To provide a machining device and a machining method which improve machining accuracy and machining quality of a workpiece, and extends the life of a cutting tool.

A dicer is composed of: a first flange 2a, a disclike blade 4, and a second flange 2b which are mounted to a rotary shaft 3 of a rotation driving device not shown in Fig.; and a nut 5 for fastening and fixing a blade 1 by the flanges 2a, 2b. A resistor 8 having a circular ring shape and an inductor 9 are joined to a sleeve. The resistor 8 and the inductor 9 are serially connected between electrodes of a piezoelectric element 7 joined to the flange.
