Abstract:
To provide a machining method and a machine tool capable of preventing environmental pollution and having excellent machinability.
In the machining method for machining a workpiece W while supplying a cutting oil to a cutting edge 5a of an end mill 5 for machining the workpiece W, the cutting oil is directly jetted to the cutting edge 5a by a micro amount oil discharge mechanism 10 for intermittently discharging the cutting oil at the rate of 0.0005-0.01 ml/shot, and at the speed of 10-100 m/s.
