To provide a magazine, which can easily be shared by eliminating the need to input management information by image recording devices even when shared among a plurality of photoprinters and a plurality of image recording devices, enables even management information varying each time the magazine is used to securely be updated, and can record not only management information on a photosensitive material, but also management information regarding the magazine itself and other information, and an image recording device using the magazine.

The magazine is loaded in the image recording device which draws a long-sized photosensitive material out to a specified position and performs exposure processing for the photsensitive material and comprises a magazine main body which stores the rolled photosensitive body in a light blocked state and a recording medium which is fitted to the magazine main body and where the management information regarding the magazine and the photosensitive material stored therein is recorded in a rewritable state.
