In a magazine for the rolled printing plate material having a main body for housing the broad strip printing plate material, which is rolled around a hollow cylindrical winding core having both its ends mounted with flanged members under the condition that an image forming layer is faced outside, lids, a guiding member rotatably seating the rolled printing plate material thereon and an aperture, out of which the edge of the rolled printing plate material is drawn, the drawing-out resistance of the rolled printing plate material is set to be 0.05-0.2 N/cm.
