Abstract:
To provide a magnesium-lithium-based alloy excellent in corrosion resistance even though exposed to high temperature high humidity environment over long time.SOLUTION: A magnesium-lithium-based alloy is an alloy containing magnesium and lithium. Sum of content of Mg and content of Li of a member consisting of the magnesium-lithium-based alloy is 90 mass% or more. Content of Li based on sum of the Mg content and the Li content is 5 mass% to 20 mass%. A member consisting of the magnesium-lithium-based alloy contains sulfide. The sulfide is arranged to be distributed in at least depth 100 nm from a surface of the member of the magnesium-lithium-based alloy toward inside.SELECTED DRAWING: None
