Abstract:
To provide a light-weight magnesium alloy excellent in mechanical characteristics by an industrially stable process.SOLUTION: A magnesium-lithium-aluminum-based alloy contains magnesium, 2-6.0 mass% of lithium, and 5-10 mass% of aluminum. There are provided a method for manufacturing the magnesium-lithium-aluminum-based alloy by preparing two kinds of raw material chips containing predetermined elements, and mixing the raw material chips; and a method for manufacturing a molding which inject-molds a magnesium-lithium-aluminum-based alloy obtained by the manufacture method.SELECTED DRAWING: None
