Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent one's fingers from being caught by a forcibly shutting door.
CONSTITUTION: A magnet type door shock protection tool 1 is constituted or a protection tool body 11 and a magnet 7 for the door 5. The protection tool body 11 is constituted of a fixed seat 2 and a swing part 3 provided with a magnet 5 fitted to the fixed seat 2 so as to freely swing. The magnet 7 for the door is provided in a magnet case 6 and arranged in the repellent direction against the magnet 5 of the protection tool 11. When the door 9 is closed vigorously in the presence of the magnet type door shock protection tool 1, the swing part 3 collides with the door 9 and the door stops with a clearance left between the door and the post. When the door is closed in a usual motion, as the door approaches the post, a magnetic repulsion is brought about between the magnet 5 and the magnet 7 for the door. And hence, before the swing part 3 collides with the door 9, the swing part 3 swings upward due to the repulsion and it is shifted out of the opening/closing path of the door and it does not hinder the closing motion.
