Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a compact magnetic bearing device which can eliminate a displacement sensor.
CONSTITUTION: In a magnetic bearing device to hold a substance to be held in non-contact condition by a magnetic force generated by flowing an exciting current to the coil of an electromagnet stator, a reaction detector 6 to detect a reaction operating to the coil 2 of the electromagnet stator 11 is provided, and the exciting current of the coil 2 of the electromagnet stator 11 is controlled, depending on the reaction detected by the reaction detector 6.
