Title:
MAGNETIC BEARING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08159157
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a magnetic bearing device which can fixedly control a levitating position of a prescribed point in a rotor.

CONSTITUTION: In axial direction sensors 66a, 66b, axial direction displacement in sensor use disks 56a, 56b, mounted in a position of equal distance from a point O, is respectively detected. In axial direction electromagnets 60a, 60b, by making magnetic force act in a thrust bearing disk 58, a rotor 50 is magnetically levitated in the axial direction. Magnetic force of the axial direction electromagnets 60a, 60b is controlled so as to equalize displacement of the sensor disk 56a to displacement of the sensor disk 56b, by feeding back an output of the axial direction sensors 66a, 66b. In this way, the rotor 50 is position controlled so as to always fix a position of the point O.
