To improve efficiency of a magnetic bearing system comprising a radial magnetic bearing static portion and a thrust magnetic bearing static portion.
A shaft 1700 is radially restrained via a first magnetic bearing 1300 and a second magnetic bearing 1400. An axial displacement of the shaft can be restrained via a first thrust magnetic bearing 1500 and a second thrust magnetic bearing 1600 acting upon a disk portion 1750 of the shaft. Each of the first magnetic bearing, the second magnetic bearing, a first thrust magnetic bearing and a second thrust magnetic bearing comprises a rotating portion and a static portion. All magnetic bearings are externally monitored and controlled via a control program 1160 executing on an information device 1100, and a signal of each magnetic bearing is transmitted via a network. The information device 1100 comprises a user interface 1120, which is configured to display information related to the shaft and each of magnetic bearings.
