To solve such a problem that, in a conventional chip processing device, chips accumulated on a filter provided on the upper part of a tank are periodically raked by an operator by using a raking plate to recover them or the chips are raked by a conveyer having a magnet provided in the tank, however, fine tips which cannot be attracted to the magnet are stored in the tank and the attachment of an the other device is needed for recovering a scum and a lubricant.

The tank and the conveyer are integrated with each other, partitioning plates are provided in the tank, a recovery container is moved on the partition plate and a narrow oblong hole provided with magnets around the partition plate, and the chips, the scum and the lubricant are simultaneously recovered to eliminate periodical tank cleaning.
