This power tool provided is comprised of: a motor that drives a tool at its tip, a housing that retains the motor therein, and an LED light unit 25 that is mounted to the housing while delivering radiation to the tool at the tip and the vicinity thereof while the LED light unit 25 has formed therein an irradiating part 26 that emits light, a casing 27 including an accommodation space 27a that accommodates the irradiating part 26 whose portion located at least on the optical axis of the light is formed of a transparent material, and a transparent resin 28 that is disposed in the accommodation space 27a and fills the accommodation space 27a that accommodates the irradiating part 26.
