Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict a temperature rise of chips or the like which are tends to temperature rise in a magnetic disk apparatus when the magnetic disk apparatus is mounted into a housing of a PC or the like made compact with a little clearance.
SOLUTION: A magnetic disk apparatus 1 is provided with a heat conduction member 5 of a good thermal conduction material which is arranged in tight adhesion to a heatable chip (spindle motor/VCM control chip or the like) 4 mounted on a PCBA(printed circuit board assembly) 3 and which is connected to a bracket 6 and a DE(disk enclosure) 2. The heat generated from the chip mounted on the PCBA is transmitted via the heat conduction member in tight adhesion to the chip to the bracket 6 set for fixing the magnetic disk apparatus 1, and radiated, thereby preventing the chip 4 from being overheated.
