Abstract:
PURPOSE:To offer the magnetic disk driving device which carries out writing/ reading operations with high accuracy without a clashing accident caused by an outside impact. CONSTITUTION:A gimbals spring 21 where a slider 22 provided with a magnetic head 5 is fixed is installed to an arm 12, at the time of a non-operating the magnetic head 5 brought unto a noncontact condition with a magnetic disk 1 and at the time of an operation the magnetic head 5 is inclined close to the magnetic disk 1 so as to move the gimbals spring 21 to the side of the magnetic disk 1. Thus, the clashing accident is not generated, an adverse effect caused by the waviness of the magnetic disk 1 is prevented and the writing and reading operations are carried out with high accuracy.
