To provide a magnetic information transferring foil which is effective for preventing forgery and a magnetic information forming method using it.
In this magnetic information transferring foil 10, a ferromagnetic material thin film layer 15 having coercive force of 40 to 4000 A/m and a squareness ratio of 0.7 to 1.0 is provided on the whole surface on a resin film base material 11 being a supporting body through a releasing layer 17 at need, a magnetic ink layer 12 containing magnetic material is formed in the state of a pattern on a part of the ferromagnetic material thin film layer to make the ferromagnetic material thin film layer hold magnetic information characteristics characteristic in accordance with a magnetic ink pattern, and a heat seal agent layer or an adhesive agent layer 18 is formed on the ferromagnetic material thin film layer and the magnetic ink layer. In addition, three kinds of performing style are possible. This magnetic information forming method transfers the magnetic information transferring foil like this to a medium to be transferred.
