PURPOSE: To try so as to have sufficient cooling effect obtained by inserting the heat-receiving portion of a heat pipe into holes formed in plurality in the circumferential direction at the 1st connecting main-body and extend-placing the heat dissipation portion having a larger diameter than that of the heat- receiving portion at the space of the end part of the 1st connecting main-body.
CONSTITUTION: Magnetic particles 4 interposed between a ring drive which is the 1st connecting main-body and a 'driven' 3 which is the 2nd connecting main-body are bound and solidified when magnetized by a magnetization device, and brake force occurs due to frictional force against respective friction-surfaces. Frictional heat at this connection portion is absorbed by inserting the heat- receiving portion 17a of a heat pipe 17 into holes 16a formed in plurality in the circumferential direction at the 1st connecting main-body 16 and is heat- transported to the heat dissipation part 17b of a larger diameter extend-placed at the space of the 3nd part and is dissipated through a plurality of doughnut- shaped fins 18. Thus, frictional heat can be absorbed sufficiently without providing water-supply/drainage equipments and 'maintenance-free' is realized and reliability improves.
