Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic power transmission device which, even in an application for transmitting large power (torque), can switch transmission power, namely can make ON-OFF switching.SOLUTION: A pair of first rotors 1 are provided on a main rotary shaft 11 to be rotated with the main rotary shaft 11. A second rotor 2 is installed between the respective first rotors 1 to be relatively rotatable to the main rotary shaft 11. A pair of springs 42 are provided each giving bias in a direction of increasing an interval between each first rotor 1 and the second rotor 2. A pair of hydraulic pistons 51 are installed on the outer sides of the respective first rotors 1 to be changeable of the intervals between the respective first rotors 1 and the second rotor 2. An oil passage 12 is provided in the main rotary shaft 11 for supplying hydraulic pressure to each hydraulic piston 51. Each first rotor 1 and the second rotor 2 are configured to be able to transmit rotational power to each other in non-contact by a magnetic action and to be able to change transmission power by varying the interval between them.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
