Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect an analog magnetic recording and reproducing device to a personal computer or the like by converting the output of a image memory into data of a desired data form corresponding to a device to be connected by means of a data conversion circuit and outputting the data via a digital interface.
SOLUTION: A reproduction signal from a magnetic head 1 is reproduced by an analog signal recording and reproducing circuit 2 and converted into a digital signal by an A/D converter circuit 3. The digital signal is converted into desired digital data by a data conversion circuit 5. Then the data are outputted to a digital input output terminal 13 via a digital interface 6. On the other hand, in order to record image data from an information equipment such as a personal computer, the data received from the digital input output terminal 13 are converted (5(into a desired digital signal via the data interface 6. Then the signal is converted into an analog signal by a D/A converter 7 and recorded by a magnetic head 1 via a changeover switch 9 and a signal recording and reproducing circuit 2.
