In a magnetic refrigeration device, each magnetic material having a magneto-caloric effect and a solid heat storage material with no Curie point within a temperature change range based on a magneto-caloric effect of a magnetic material adjacent to the magnetic material are arranged alternately with each other, and a heat transfer part which can control a heat resistance is provided between the magnetic material and the solid heat storage material. An external magnetic field is applied to and removed from the magnetic material by a magnetic field applying part, and a heat resistance of the heat transfer part is changed in synchronization with application and removal of the magnetic field.
