A refrigerator includes: a rail device 40 having a cabinet rail 42, a middle rail 43 and a top rail 44; a door frame 41 for supporting a container 63a and fixed to a door 56; and a rail protection part 46 in which the door frame 41 for supporting the container 63a in a back and forth movable manner is mounted on the top rail 44 and which has an inclined surface. Thereby, the rail protection part 46 protects an exposure part of a storage room side end surface of the top rail 44, and it can be prevented that a hand touches the end surface of the top rail 44. Thus, safety can be enhanced, and even when a storage room with large capacity is supported in a fully-opened manner, usability of the storage room, safety in using and quality in appearance can be retained.
