Abstract:

To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of improving accuracy of movement correction.

The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to one embodiment includes a detection part and a correction part. The detection part weightedly adds k-space data for a plurality of channels that are non-orthogonally filled by rotating rectangular areas, between the channels for every rectangular area and detects an amount of movement of an imaging site during imaging on the basis of data for every rectangular area after the weighted addition. The correction part corrects the k-space data of each channel using the amount of movement.
