Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic separator excellent in space efficiency at low cost.SOLUTION: A magnetic separator 10 is configured so that an inner space of a cylindrical container 18 having an inlet 20 and an outlet 24 stores a magnetic force generating body 30, a scraper 32, a pan 34, and a handle 36, and metal processing oil is introduced to the space. The metal processing oil used in the metal processor is introduced from the inlet 20 to the inside of the container 18, is stored in the container 18 for predetermined period, and is discharged from the outlet 24. Iron powders included in the metal processing oil are attached to the magnetic force generating body 30 when the metal processing oil is stored in the container 18, and are removed from the metal processing oil. Therefore the metal processing oil discharged from the outlet 24 has a small amount of the iron powder, so that it can be sent to the metal processor without being subjected to processing and is reused.
