To provide magnetic toner, an image forming method, and a process cartridge that can suppress a decrease in picture quality such as a blotch and a fog, a decrease in developing performance, a photoreceptor flaw, and in-machine scatter of magnetic toner even when a large-capacity process cartridge with increased processing speed and an increased amount of toner to be charged in a developing unit is used.
A restriction blade which restricts a toner layer thickness on a toner carrier comprising a magnet roller which has a plurality of magnetic poles in a developing sleeve and is arranged not to rotate has 10-point average roughness Rz of 5.0 to 25.0 μm on a surface where the blade abuts against the toner carrier, a magnetic force (peak magnetic flux density) of a magnetic field of the magnet roller which acts in a developing sleeve center direction is 50 to 100 mT where the toner restriction blade abuts against the toner carrier, and the magnetic permeability of the magnetic toner is 0.6 to 1.2 μH/m.
