Title:
MAGNETIC TONER FOR MICR PRINTER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3698956
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner for an MICR(magnetic ink character recognition system) printer and a method for manufacturing the toner with which excellent image density and reading accuracy can be obtained even when about 300,000 sheets of A-4 paper are continuously printed.
SOLUTION: In the magnetic toner for an MICR printer containing a binder resin and magnetic powder, the toner contains metal oxide particles on the outer surface of the toner particles and the volume resistance of the metal oxide particles is controlled to 1×105 to 1×1011 Ω.cm.
