To record information not on a film leader section but on the second track of an unexposed top frame in order to stably reproduce the magnetic information of a film.

When a film rewinding operation is performed while the film is used halfway, the film is once wound up and simultaneously the second track of this frame, i.e. the unexposed top frame, is subjected to magnetic recording of the information. The unexposed top frame is detected after reloading of the film by an MRC and simultaneously the magnetic information of the second track is reproduced and displayed.
