To solve the problems, wherein in an IH cooking stove heating a cooking utensil by applying an alternating magnetic field to the cooking utensil, such as, a pan with induction current generated in the cooking utensil, a part of flux discharged toward the upper part where the cooking utensil is placed leaks into air and spreads around the IH cooking stove, and although various magnetism protection means to reduce such leakage flux have been devised in the past, none of those provided in the IH cooking stove can effectively prevent magnetic flux leaking to the upper part.
This IH cooking stove is surrounded by plate-shaped magnetism protecting devices 2, 3 made of a magnetic substance, and leakage flux LF is brought into the magnetism protecting devices 2, 3, to thereby prevent the leakage flux from spreading to the outside.
