PURPOSE: To realize a manufacturing equipment for a multi-rotation absolute encoder which can easily mass-produce multi-rotation absolute encoders having stable performance.

CONSTITUTION: In a multi-rotation absolute encoder combining an optic absolute encoder using an absolute angle code plate 2 with a rotation number detector using a ring magnet 1a and a magnetic bubble element, a positioning means 51 for detecting a current rotation angle by using the absolute angle code plate 2 and rotating the absolute angle code plate 2 based on the detected rotation angle to adjust the current rotation angle to an origin or to a predetermined angle and a magnetizing means 50 for magnetizing the ring magnet 1a are provided.
