Abstract:
To provide a magnetization method and a magnetization device that can make a high intensity magnetic field reach the inside of a magnetic body (magnet) of a rotor and securely magnetize even the inside of the magnetic body while suppressing manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: The magnetization method for applying a magnetic field in a radial direction to a rotor 100 having a plurality of magnetic bodies 104A to 104H arranged in a circumferential direction to magnetize the magnetic bodies 104A to 104H includes the steps for arranging magnetizing coils 141 to 143 adjacent to the outer circumference of the plurality of magnetic bodies 104A to 104H and applying a magnetic field inwardly in the radial direction to the plurality of magnetic bodies 104A to 104H while applying a magnetic field outwardly in the radial direction to only one of the magnetic bodies 104A to 104H.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
