Abstract:
To provide a vehicle with an automatic operation function, capable of preventing a driver from being injured by automatic movement of a steering member and eliminating restriction of the posture of a driver during the operation of the automatic operation function.SOLUTION: A vehicle includes a steer unit 7 and a controller 8. The steer unit is provided with a lock mechanism (a clutch 6) which is used for a steering control system to automatically operate a rudder angle with an electric signal in an automatic operation mode and switches a steering member (a steering wheel 1) and a lock state and a free state with an electric signal and in a normal operation mode for a driver to operate with a steering member (a steering wheel 1). The controller includes a function of the steering control system and controls the lock mechanism (a clutch 6). The vehicle further includes a function which permits the steering member (the steering wheel 1) to be kept a lock state by a command of the controller 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
